Early Life and High School Career

After high school, Greg Oden played one season of college basketball at Ohio State University during the 2006–2007 season. NBA Career and Injuries

Greg Oden was the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, selected by the Portland Trail Blazers. He missed his entire rookie season due to microfracture surgery on his right knee. Over the next few seasons, Oden continued to struggle with knee injuries, playing in just 82 games over five seasons with the Trail Blazers.

He was release by Portland in 2012, and after an attempt to return to the NBA with the Miami Heat during the 2013-2014 season, Oden retire from professional basketball.
